Indogea used to be part of a greater landmass millions of years ago that broke away during a flood which caused it to encapsulate itself and it's inhabitants into a gigantic shell of shimmering ice.

After Indogea was fully incased with a thick ice shell, it quickly began sinking to the bottom of the ocean, becoming a living world under the ocean.
