Orange Shirt Day Obby
36
Orange Shirt Day (also known as Truth and Reconciliation Day) is to wear orange shirts to honor the indigenous kids who was sent to Residential School. This school has mean teachers. Some teachers hit their students. But, That’s not what Residential School had. Kids weren’t allowed to see their families for 11 months. They had to cut their hair. And most of the kids died. Some kids survived but most of them are not. And they could not speak their own language. They were forced to speak English. It only happened in Canada 🇨🇦. Not USA 🇺🇸.
(I learned this at school)
