The snake told you you something about a certain crystal that might just purify the water and keep the sea calm temporarily. It also agreed to bring you to a portal, it will lead to a place underwater where no human has seen, humans have been there but only as dead bodies on their wrecked ships. As you get closer and closer to the portal something felt wrong, you felt unwelcome and like trespasser. There is something beneath the waves that doesn't like you.
