The mighty Sequoioideae, also known as Redwood, is the largest and highest tree in the whole world. They live through thousands of years and through many forest fires.

In fact, they rely on fires to reproduce. The cones release their seeds after fire when the soil is exposed and free of other vegetation.

Though the fires it has to withstand these day are way too big even for the redwood, and we need to make sure this beautiful beast of tree can survive and thrive!
